    Note: In Monmouth's legend, Arthur was raised by Ector, a retired knight, held the Sword of the Stone at age 15 and became a famous King and warrior. On Easter Sunday, 519, Arthur proclaimed the first `United Kingdom' of Britain, Ireland and France. His fame was suppressed by Anglo-Saxon conquerors and he is now most famous for the fabulous adventures of his Knights of the Round Table.
