(The utility of these last links will be apparent to any English speaker who tries to use Google in a non-English country. Doing it once will set an English-language "cookie" on your machine, but since every Tom_Dick_and_Harry.com (though not FabPedigree.com) insists on scribbling cookies on your disk, removing the bothersome ones individually is very painful. I do a complete Remove All Cookies every now and then. That causes little trouble ... but you'll then have to click this English-language setter for Google.)
