The PEDIGREE of
Infraphylum Tetrapoda

     (Amniota are in Reptiliomorpha)

Note: It seems a severe violation of taxonomy that the Class of Birds is just part of an Infraclass within Reptiles, but that is the conclusion of modern genetic studies. Similarly, all tetrapods descend from the class of lobe-finned fishes. For related reasons, a clade like Sauropsida is sometimes called Subclass, sometimes Superclass!
